Sometimes love is not enough

It is incredibly hot in the Midwest.

Last year, I spent my summer in Germany, where it was cool and rainy most of the time.

Obviously, I am not used to temperatures this high.

But, this is the US of A!

We have air conditioning everywhere, and we have ice cold soda.

(Americans like to fill up their glasses with ice cubes...so weird)

I will survive!

These photos were taken at one of the parks in town.

Being there brings back memories and mixed emotions.

Just like almost every street, building, tree.

(It's a small town, what can I expect)

Not always easy.

I fell in love with the Midwest, I fell in love in the Midwest,

but sometimes love is not enough.
