Here is a slightly different outfit post:
This is what I wore to the gym yesterday.
I don't necessarily "dress up" to work out, but I love bright fun exercise attire.
You can look cute while working out! :)
Comfort is my priority, though. After all, I go to the gym to stay fit, and not to model my bright purple sports bra, etc.
I absolutely love to work out.
Makes me feel good, and it has also a good impact on my school work.
Finding a balance between physical exercise and mental exercise is the key!
Something that I hear a lot, when talking about moving to the US, or even while I was an exchange student a few years ago was : America? You're gonna get fat!
And I know that is something many girls worry about before they go overseas.
With proper nutrition and regular exercise, you will not have to worry!
The first time I came to the US, I ate fast food, pizza, ice cream, and all the good stuff :)
Of course I gained a couple of pounds. But I lost it as soon as I went back to my "normal" diet in Germany. (I also got a gym membership then)
Now that I live here for a longer period of time, I try to live a healthy lifestyle: Healthy diet & enough exercise. At first, it does seem as if people in the States only live off unhealthy greasy food.
Not true. It just seems more convenient for most.
This shall be my little ramble on exercise, my outfit, and health :)
And on that note, I am off to the gym!
Greetings from the Midwest,
